This blog is about classical Argentine tango music. I will concentrate on styles that were dominant during the Golden Age of tango, i.e. 1935 to 1952 or so. The roots of tango from the very beginning might also be covered.

As an arranger and a tango DJ I often bump into questions about tango music I would like to investigate more deeply – hence the name of the blog. When sharing my investigations with you, I would also like to hear your feedback as comments and discussions.
